Today we Mystery Number Skyped with a 2nd grade classroom in Missouri.  We used the process of elimination to figure out that their number was 84 and they figured out that our number was 56.  Here are a some of questions that we asked the other class.

• Is your number greater than 50?
• Is your number an even number?
• Does the number have a ___ in the tens place?
• Does the number have a ___ in the ones place?
• Is your number between __ and ___.

We worked on our math , speaking and listening, and our asking and answering questions skills.  We will definitely do this again!

What’s the difference between fiction books and non fiction books? Students compared a fiction book and non fiction book.  Then as a whole class we came up with the differences in chart form.
